Wednesday Night Racing

The Miles River Yacht Club hosts Wednesday Night Races every Wednesday from the first Wednesday in May through the first week in October. The Club is home to one of the largest Star fleets in the country as well as classes for racing and cruising PHRF boats. Anyone can join in the racing to try your hand at some casual competition. After the races, many of the competitors come by the Club to relax and watch video replays of the races.

Spectators are welcome to enjoy the races by boat or shore and are also welcome to join in the post-race awards back at the Club.

One of the largest committees at MRYC is the Sail Committee. These volunteers help run the races, serve on the race committee and volunteer to run the mark boat.
